Hardware Layer

eUICC Chip

The embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card is permanently soldered to the device motherboard. Certified to CC EAL4+. Stores multiple carrier profiles simultaneously.

Server Layer

SM-DP+ Server

Subscription Manager Data Preparation Plus. Operated by carriers. Prepares and delivers encrypted profile packages via HTTPS to the device eUICC.

Discovery Layer

SM-DS Service

Subscription Manager Discovery Service. Connects devices to the correct SM-DP+ server. Enables SGP.22 compliant profile downloads without pre-configured server addresses.

STEP_01 / VERIFY
Device Compatibility Check
Confirm eUICC hardware present. Verify carrier unlock status. Check iOS/Android version compatibility. Navigate Settings > Cellular for "Add eSIM" option.
STEP_02 / CONNECT
Wi-Fi Connection Required
Profile download requires stable internet connection. Airport Wi-Fi acceptable. Mobile data from existing SIM also works. Minimum 1 Mbps recommended.
STEP_03 / DOWNLOAD
QR Code Scan and Profile Download
Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM > Use QR Code. Device contacts SM-DP+ server. Encrypted profile package downloaded to eUICC. Duration: 2–5 minutes.
STEP_04 / ACTIVATE
Enable Data Roaming
